I believe God smiled on all of us when he ushered Carter into our lives. My little pumpkin will always have a special BIG place in my heart. I think of him and speak of him daily. There are oh so many fond memories that I shall always cherish.
I kept a voice mail from Carter asking me and Pap to "Please, please, please can you come and take me to Chuckie Cheese? I am going to come over there, RUNNING. Please come get me."
Everyday I feel and sense our Dear Carter "RUNNING". Running all over his special place in heaven and enjoying every moment. Most likely he is sharing his many opinions of how things should be run.

Finger and Wanker Families....
Just wanted to let you know that you all have been on our minds throughout this past year, but, mostly these most recent weeks.
You are an amazing family who raised not only an amazing boy, but an extraordinary one at that. What an honor it must be to say that you were related to someone so strong and full of life as Carter.
Carter's spirit lives on in so many ways and he was ~ and still is ~ such an inspiration to so many people, which is understandable considering the family from which he came.
May your days get happier and your memories of Carter get stronger with each passing day.
We're still missing that rapid knock on our door, but mostly, we're missing our little buddy.
With love.......

My dear sweet parents of Carter Finger. My daughter Gina Giorgianna has been going thru the same experience as Carter with Dominic Giorgianna. Dominic had a emboylic cord blood transplant last Sept. 8, 2006-has been going thru his ups & downs. My heart goes out to you all for your beloved loss and angel. Gina was shocked when I told her I had read this notice. Rhonda, you have a very close relative of mine Nikki & Paul Hinnesbusch and Nikki would let us know when I did see the family about Carter. Words cannot express how this is so hard to handle. Please know that Carter will be in my prayers always, as well for you all.

The Finger Family,
So, sorry about your loss of little Carter. Carter is at peace now in his final resting place. Carter will always be with you in mind, heart and soul. He's your Guardian Angel and will be looking over you from the Golden Gates of Heaven above. Our family grew up with Howard and Stacy Finger in Crafton, PA. We all loafed together throught-out our teenage years. I (Sandy) had the pleasure of meeting little Carter at my place of employment, Verizon Wireless, where i work with Carter's family member, Linda Benko. Please, accept our families sincere heartfelt sympathy and prayers. God bless. Sandy, Jack, Penny, Randy, Jill and Martha Fossett.

Carter Mc Kenzie Finger, a blessing to us all.The joy he had for life, he shared with everyone.I truly believe he came to earth as an angel to touch us all. Only through God could a boy so small have touched the world so tremendously. I will continue to sing the song he,Granma Brenda and I sang together"Angels Watching Over Me Lord" because now I truly know that angel.

Rhonda, Howard, Miriah and Family, Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Carter was an extraordinary boy that changed the lives of anyone he smiled at.
My daughter Valerie who is 9 yrs old saw Carter just a few weeks ago when she came to visit him at your house. He was such an inspiration to her that she came home and wrote this poem that I would like to share with you:
"I hope you get better Carter. I hope you keep being happy!. Even if you go up to heaven, Angles are going to help you. All you have to do is believe in all these people who help you, even God, Jesus and Angles. I will always be with you. Believe!!!"
Carter's life has touched so many, even the little children. He truely was and always will be an inspiration, at least to my little girl.
God Bless!

Our deepest sympathy to you all in this time of loss. We attended the beautiful service this morning, and while we have never met Carter in person, we felt like we knew him. My daughter, Erica, is friends with Mariah and I knew that we wanted to be there to not only mourn with you, but to also rejoice in his home going. We pray that the love and peace that only Jesus can give would fill your hearts and that God himself would hold you in His arms as we know He is holding Carter right now.. much love and prayers to all of you,

I want to extend my deepest sympathy toward your loss. As a mother and also a hospice nurse my heart aches for you and for everyone who was a part of Carters life. My daughter who is a good friend of B.J.'s is having a hard time with this and states, "mom how do you handle death?" And although much harder when this happens with children, I look back at the whole picture of the hard journey of fighting, and finally not being able to fight anymore and it helps to find some peace in my heart (and I hope yours as well) that your loved one will suffer no more. God Bless.

Dear Family of Carter,
I am a friend of your neighbor, Nicole. I lost my dear sister in law, mother of three fabulous little boys, to leukemia a few years ago. In my heart, I know she is in Heaven, waiting with her wonderful, hug-filled arms for all the little children who need an angel-mama. She was there, waiting for Carter, with a heart full of love.
We have watched Carter's progress from afar, and kept him in our prayers daily.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. This world has lost a sweet soul, yet Heaven has gained a new angel.
With sympathy,

Dear Rhonda and family,
Although we never met you or the rest of Carter's family, we had the pleasure to hang out with Carter at his cousin Scott's basketball games. He truly was the type of kid you did not want to take your eyes off of because he was such a joy, as a matter of fact, I missed most of my son's game when he was there!! We did not know him for long, but we are lucky to have had the chance to meet him. We asked Jackie about him often, prayed for him and you often, and currently have a heavy heart because of his passing...God Bless.

Howard, Rhonda, Mariah and all the extended family.
Carter has given me, as well as others, countless and everlasting blessings. Ten thousands words could not cover the many facets of his personality. A True Warrior and Super Hero, Carter has taught us all how to be strong and not give up. It is an honor to call him my Grandson, his spirit will remain with me and with all of us until the day our spirits will all be united. The heavens are applauding and rejoicing as Carter has been welcomed home and is in the Arms Of Love.
When it comes to healing our own spirts and hearts, our only hope is that God will do for us what we cannot possibly do for ourselves.
Dear God, I pray for everyone of our family members. I ask you to step into our hurt and helplessness, take our hands and lead us.
May we take Jesus at his word....
"When he says we're forgiven, let's unload the guilt."
"When he says we're valuable, let's believe him"
"When he sys we're provided for, let's stop worrying."

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
May God Bless You all!

This is extremely sad. My cousin Mary Ellen told me of your loss. God let you borrow him for a while but now needs him home. He will no longer have needles, and pain, and meds, and hospitals. He is smiling and running and playing with other children. He will always be your angel. I know this offers little comfort. You will miss terribly, but he knows he was loved by you. What a joy that was for him.

To Carter's Family
You do not know me, but through Mary Ellen, I got to know a little of Carter and the battle he endured. To him, he won that battle because he is in God's Garden of Love, free from pain.
Carter loved you all and he'll miss you
And he'll always be nearby.
His body's gone forever,
But his spirit will never die!
And so, you must all go on now,
Live one day at a time.

Through all of the trials, tribulations, and pain, there was a shining light...Carter. Although he endured more as a seven year-old than most people into the twilights of adulthood, Carter remained a tower of strength, courage, and love as he fought the bravest of fights. Rejoice in the memories of his short, but incredibly remarkable life on earth, and take heart that our loving God has given him a new and eternal life of happiness and peace, a life free of all the physical and mental pain he suffered in this realm. God Bless and help you through the grief.

I extend my deepest sympathy in your loss. We've never met but I have been praying for Carter for a long time with the other members of Riverview Presbyterian Church. Nothing is more devastating than losing a child. May your many good memories, and knowing he is at peace, help to ease the pain of Carter's death. I will keep your family in my prayers.

God Saw You..
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

To All Members of Carter's Family:
On behalf of all of the staff, parents and community at Chartiers Valley Primary School, please accept our deepest condolences on Carter's passing from his earthly home to a more peaceful one. Many CV folks maintained a constant vigil by keeping all of you in their prayers and thoughts. Carter served as a role model for us in terms of courage, strength and persistence. He will live on in our memories for all he taught us.

Carter has touched so many lives, near and far. May knowing this help ease your pain at this time. However shortlived, his purpose on this earth was definitely fulfilled and then some. What an exceptional little boy. I know you are very proud of him and I pray that God helps you through this most difficult time. Never forget how many thoughts and prayers are with you, not just now, but every single day.

CARTER - WE KNOW THAT YOUR FIGHT HAS ENDED AND THAT YOU ARE PAIN FREE, FLYING HIGH ABOVE US WITH YOUR NEW ANGEL WINGS. WE ALL WILL CERTAINLY MISS YOU - ESPECIALLY THAT KEEN, WITTY HUMOUR THAT WAS YOURS AND YOURS ALONE. GOD CERTAINLY BROKE THE MOLD AFTER HE CREATED YOU. WE WILL NEVER EVER FORGET YOU FOR YOU WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS, THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
RHONDA, MARIAH, HOWARD & THE REST OF YOUR FAMILIES - I'VE WITNESSED THROUGHOUT THE YEARS YOUR LOVING WAYS, GRACE AND, MOST OF ALL, THE GREAT STRENGTH THAT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU POSSESS. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO ADD TO THAT STRENGTH AND EASE THE PAIN THAT I KNOW YOU ARE FEELING AT THIS TIME.
WITH MUCH LOVE..... ^^j^^
