I remember the first time I saw Casey on the television I was five and I just loved his voice and I´ll never forget that moment that moment when I heard this amazing voice and the song was Ohio is for lovers and that´s when I really just wanted to see and meet him in person or at least breathe the same air as him when I found out that he passed all of that just went away but just knowing that he´s in a good place brings me happiness

You will never be forgotten. Your voice was amazing and has gotten me and so many others through difficult things in life. Through your music, your legacy, you were able to convey feelings that words couldn't, and that made us all feel less alone. It's heartbreaking that you didn't get more time on this Earth. I'm turning 27 soon, older than you got to see, but I wouldn't have made it to this age without your music. The world misses you. Rest easy Casey.

i never really knew casey that well but i knew his sister and he always seemed like such a great person. i was totally shocked when i heard about what had happened i couldn't believe that someone i knew from a distance was gone. i mean they lived just up the street from me growing up. so i would like to send my prayers out to casey's family and friends in this difficult time.

Casey, you will be missed dearly by everyone. You left us too soon, but we took the time we had with you and cherised it. The band will never be the same, but they will continue with your spirt in mind and heart. We all LOVE you and ALWAYS will!

I never got to go to a H.H. concert. I never owned a H.H. cd. But you don't have to have all of that to be a HUGE H.H. fan. And I loved Casey soo much. His role in H.H. intoduced me to the "screaming" and i'm starting to get pretty good at it. And I owe it all to Casey. i will miss Casey Sooo much.

I went to Warped Tour a couple of years ago with my niece, me, a 43 -year old mother of 3 kids, tagging behind my niece, feeling a little lost. That was until I saw the first band up on stage that day - Hawthorne Heights. Then I wasn’t lost anymore. I was part of a sea of people who were one with the band and the music. And I was floored by the way the band responded to this sea. They couldn’t thank the fans enough, and thank the fans was the only talking they did between songs. No cursing and no vulgarity, and their love for the music and for performing and for their fans sold me that day on these beautiful young artists. The next time I saw them was, ironically, at the 9:30 Club in D.C. They were touring with Bayside, who did their acoustic set that night because they had just lost their drummer a few months before. And again, I was truly in awe of HH’s performance and their love for what they did. In the past few years, I’ve lost my mom, and my dad, and my husband, to death and to Alzheimer’s. And, along with my family and friends, music is what got me through. I turned to the music to deal with the sadness, and the anger, and the depression that comes with watching those you love die. That’s changed a little bit. I put in a Hawthorne Heights CD a few days ago, and as soon as I heard Casey’s first scream, I had to turn it off. It hurt too much to know that the precious gift of such a wonderful young person was gone way too soon. But then I realized he’s not really gone. His gift is still with us, in our minds and in our hearts. And I just imagine him somewhere with Beatz Holohan, Bayside’s drummer, and know that God has one heck of a rock band going up there. I’m beginning to be able to turn the music back on and get through it. Because that’s what Casey would have wanted. His short time with us had a purpose. He left all of us with a legacy of talent, and what it takes to be an amazing artist and person, and how one life can impact so many others in 26 short years. I have three kids, all musicians, and I only hope and pray that they turn out as talented, dedicated and inspiring as Casey and all of the young artists who leave their families, get on those tour buses and spend their lives helping the rest of us get through ours.

Casey Was one of my Guitar gods, Not only was he that but he was one of my heros. He will be deeply missed by more than thousands of people. I had been hoping to meet him this year at a concert but now that is not possible. I'll be going to the concert anyways. He will be there in spirt always. I love you all.

I was really sad when i heard about casey's death. he was a great guitarist and an amazing person. i know im gonna miss him in the band. he will always be in our hearts.

I'm still processing this news... I was in Clovus with Casey back in high school. He truly was a person of great character and humor, always a kid at heart. I'll never forget making music with him. He definitely found a home in the heart of anyone who knew him. I look back on those days that I was fortunate enough to know him and I smile, even through the pain of now knowing he's gone. I hadn't spoken with him in years, but I guess that's life. He will be sorely missed by so many and will always be an inspiration to me. My sincerest regards to his family and friends. as soon i heard "ohio is for lovers", i became a fan of the hawthorne heights. and one thing the stood out about the band was casey, the guy who was screaming. i became a fan and tried to catch all of there vegas shows.

i also had the pleasure of meeting casey after one of their shows in vegas in 2005. for the minute i talked with him, he was a sweetheart and one of a kind. he will be missed.

i will remember him for his quirky, off beat personality. and how he stood out.

i heard last sunday and cried on and off until the other day when i realized they sky was a lot more beautiful. it's because our beloved Casey was up there. i may not have known him well but i have met him before and i've loved what him and the others had accomplished way back when they were a day in the life. he will be missed and even though he's left this earth he'll always be in our hearts.

I worked with Caseys girlfriend a few years ago, she such a sweetheart. I told her how much my sister loves Hawthrone heights and she brought me cd covered signed by the band. She spoke so well of Casey and the band,God give his family and loved ones strength to get through all this. Words can not express how sadden I am.

Ashley & Family,
I am certain that words cannot explain how horrible Casey's passing is for all of you. My Fiance toured with Casey last year & has had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Please know that you are in our thoughts & prayers.

was such a great person, and by far had the best scream in rock music ever. Hawthorne Heights is such a amazing and talented band, that will never be the same without him.
I will miss casey so much and I will always remember his scream in Hawthorne Heights song "This is Who We Are" , it always gave me goosebumbs when I listened to it. I watched a thing on t.v. a few days ago and my grandma taped it, it was on fuse and i have watched it atleast twice everyday since my grandma taped it and i just can't except the fact that he is no longer with us. When i heard the news i about fell out of my chair and i ran down stairs and looked up casey on my computer because I couldn't believe what my mom had told me.. I was in shock, I'm still having a hard time believing it ....he was such a great guy .....to Micha, J.T.,Matt and Eron also his wife Ashley and all his other friends and family my thoughts are with you and I'm so sorry for your loss. I garentee that casey will not ever be forgotten and that nobody will ever be as good as him and as dedicated to music as he was!

I am originally from Lebanon Ohio but moved down here for my brothers asthma condition.
I know how it feels to lose a loved one.
I've lost 4 people in the past 5 years.
It's really hard.
Casey was by far my fav. one out of the band.
Hawthorne Heights was the first band I ever saw in concert.
I know it's hard for yall to lose him, but it's also hard for me.

Just stay tight and remember what Casey would want you to do.
