Met him at 4p3 at DMZ near North Korea in 1986. Short in height, but large in stature and accomplishments. His support meant alot to us during our tour. Great man.

Mr. Weingerger:

Though you are no longer around;

however, you are still in my mind

particulary when I remembered

I have selected you to be my

research topic in my political

science course which the professor

assigned to study the newly-formed

Cabinet appointed by the then

President Ronald Reagan.

Though General MacArthur stated,

"Old Soldier never died...

They just faded away...".....

Mr. Weinberger.....in my mind,

you NEVER faded away!!

May God bless your family and

remain peacefully in HEAVEN.

I was so stunned to find that a particular favourite of mine, Mr. Casper Weinberger, had left us just yesterday. I have very vivid, and fond memories of him, from the time I was 11 years old, when he was in the Nixon administration. I even, at that time, named one of my cat's four kittens after him! ~{we had been memorising all of Pres. Nixon's Cabinet members at school that Spring}~

I will miss him, but think of him now in a happy light, not sad, knowing he is past all ills and pain, and at peace.

May peace and reassurance be with his family, and friends now as well.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Weinberger and family. It's wonderful to hear they were married for 63 years! That in itself speaks volumes to me about his private life which is so much more than his public life. May God comfort you Mrs. Weinberger at this sorrowful time.

A great loss to our nation! He and Mr Reagan served this country with honor, dignity and integrity and stopped "The Evil Empire" in it's tracks. There is no doubt in my mind that God will look at both men and say "Well Done, my child". Rest in peace, Sir. It was a great honor to serve in the military under you. I salute you, Sir! God Speed!

Rest in peace, Mr. Weinberger. Along with our late, great President Ronald Wilson Reagan, you made the world a safer place for all of us and freed millions of people from evil and tyranny. We owe you a debt that can never be repaid. Thank you for your service to our country, and may God watch over you, President Reagan, and the USA.
