I am just hearing this terrible news. I met Cassandra in Los Angeles back in 2005/6...I onlly knew her peripherally and via mutual friends...eventually I discovered that she was not only stunningly beautiful (movie star good looks), but we hung out one day and she started talking, and i was like...."You are brilliant! WHere did you go to school!?" I mean she blew me away quoting literature and philosophy....it was jaw dropping....as was her warmth and generosity. We'd lost tocu over the years, and since the pandemic i make it a habit to look people up from whom i havent heard or otherwise havent connected...I searched on FB and forgot that we are FB friends...I was deeply saddened to see a legacy page. I googled her today to find out what happened and this page came up (thank God). I did not know her well...I didn't know she was called Cassie. I did know her pain, her laugh, her curiosity, generosity, anger (she let me have it once and forgave me just as passionately), and her kindness. My deepest condolences to those who knew her and loved her. I am so sorry for your loss.

I too watched Cassie's story. I am so sorry for all the pain she had to endure. Cassie was witty, intelligent, funny, vulnerable. Her love for her sisters shone through. Rest in peace beautiful lady,no one can hurt you now and thank you for sharing your story. You made a lasting impression and you will be remembered always. Sleep on Cassie.

I´ve watched Cassie´s story probably twenty times by now, and each time I´m left utterly blown away. By the immense trauma she endured, her story of her guardian angel Michael forewarning her of a life filled with lessons learned in ways so hard they just seem cruel most times. When I saw her pictures from healthier days I instantly started to cry. What an absolutely beautiful soul in every single way. Her story will never ever be forgotten by me.

What a lovely lady and beautiful soul, lost much too soon, I watched an interview with her and she was so articulate, intelligent and beautiful. Her pain was palpable...I so hoped and prayed to see her overcome her struggles. God bless her, and hold her in your loving arms may she fly high and rest in glory and peace sweet angel.

Wow. I had watched Cassie's story on another site and I just absolutely loved her. She was a beautiful soul. It deeply saddens me to see that she has passed away. This was such a well written and beautiful obituary. I wish that life had been kinder to her and that she could have lived to realize her potential and to know what an amazing woman and lady she was. Her story has left a mark on my heart that will never leave. She is at peace now and I pray that her story will be shared and help someone else that is hurting. That will be her legacy and that is such a beautiful thing. Rest in peace beautiful lady.
