Cassandra Louise Spruill

Cassandra Louise (Whitter) Spruill Cassandra was born in Nashville, North Carolina on October 1, 1951. She resided in Rocky Mount, North Carolina until relocating to Norristown, Pennsylvania in the early eighties. Cassandra was valedictorian of her graduating high school class which earned her a full scholarship to Elizabeth City University, where she attended for two years. Cassandra passed away on September 1, 2008 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pa. She is survived by her mother Florine Spruill of Rocky Mount; two sons, Kenyon Spruill of Norristown, Pa. Isaac Spruill of Durham; three siblings, Willie Whitter, Carol (Alexander) Avery of Norristown, Pa. and Angela Paige of Durham; two nephews, Byron Hedgepeth of Norristown, Pa. and Isaiah Paige of Durham; numerous great nieces and nephews. She was lovingly supported until her death by Charles Hill and comforted and supported by friends and family throughout her struggle.
