Cassy Deane Pickard

Cassy was an amazing and generous friend, an incredibly skilled writer, and an exceptional host. We shared a love of writing and a friendship that started with a writing retreat she hosted in her gorgeous home, and reached fruition when we both published our first novels. But more than anything, she was my friend. I'll treasure my memories with her forever.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. For nearly 20 years I have cared for Cassy and Jon´s beautiful lakefront home in Connecticut. Cassy was an awesome family friend ,like a sister I never had. She taught me how to care for her many beautiful Orchids she kept throughout their home and felt that while she was on a vacation or visit family and friends when she returned home they would still be fine. I loved this beautiful lady and my sadness is so overwhelming. Art

I worked with Cassy for several years at Yale School of Nursing. She was always kind, gracious and caring. She will not be forgotten.
