PILEGGI, Caterina It is with sadness we inform that Caterina passed away Sunday evening, July 5, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 74 years. Caterina is survived by her loving family; husband, Michele; two daughters and one son, Teresa, Joe and Rosie and their families; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; one sister and two brothers, Giuseppina, Domenico and Vito and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Giovanna and Vincenzo and sister, Maria. Prayers Thursday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Bernard Gilliece SDB officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. To my dearest family, sorry I cannot be there with you at this time of sorrow it's hard when we loose a loved one, but God is now taking care of them and pretecting them through the pain and suffering. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
