So many pleasant memories both in volunteering with her and our special times together. Kitty and I enjoyed Aladdin's restaurant. She liked Greek food, especially the grape leaves. She was such a joy and pleasure to be with. God bless.

Hi Gram,
Its only been a little over 4 months and I still don't really want to accept the fact that your gone. So many things have happened lately that I wanted to call and talk to you about...I know your watching over though. Really missing you...but I know today is one day closer to a day when I will be with you again. Love you, Nic

Please accept my sympathy of the loss of your dear Mother. My Mother ran into her at AGH when she has in treatment. I still think and pray for all of you. I will never forget the strength and courage that Annamarie gave me in the 1st and 2nd grades at St Marys.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My sincere condolences to Kitty's friends and family for such a great loss. I knew her from St Mary's Church and through a mutual friend, Rosemarie 'Wish' White. They are now in Heaven together sharing their wonderful laughter and watching over us all. May your memories of Kitty sustain you through this hard time.

Dear Family of Kitty:
Please accept my sympathy of the loss of your dear Mother. When I was in High School I used to drive my Mom and your Mom to Mercy. She was always so pleasant. Just a couple of years ago I ran into her at St. Mary's and we had a nice reunion.
I am offering Mass for her at the Base Chapel on Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake. Be sure of my prayers for comfort and peace.
love,
Fr. Jim Dowds, C.Ss.R.

With deepest sympathy to the family during your time of sorrow. Psalms 46:1 says: God is for us a refuge and strength during this difficult time and May God grant you the comfort to endure.

Kitty was a kind, loving woman. She was always willing to do whatever work needed to be done. Kitty was a valuable volunteer and a great help to me when I worked at St. Mary of Mercy. I am sure she is already in Heaven enjoying her eternal reward. My sympathy and prayers to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you for sharing Kitty.

Its been a long few days, and although it still hasn't quite sunk in, I feel peace in knowing that your in a much better place. I know you were waiting on me the other night-Im sure you had it all planned out. Well that and the fact that we were all convinced that Aunt Deb got lost on her way to pick you up at the pearly white gates (lol). I set some goals for myself-and although you won't physically be here to celebrate my achievements with me I know you will be with me every step of the way in spirit. I'm sure I will write you a million more times, but for now I have to go since you will be keeping us very busy the next few days. Love you xoxo
