I never knew Joan and am just reading about her incredible spirit now. I'm a 9 year breast cancer patient and believe I have the same attitude as Joan. We are never promised more time and can only make the most of that which we have. Sending you my deepest and warmest regards to all the family and thank you for sharing this woman with us.

Kate and I extend our heartfelt and sincere condolences to all her family on Joan's passing. She was a bright and exceptional person and a great neighbor to us for many years. We will all miss her.
