It has taken me awhile to be able to do this. Cathy and Paul were our best friends for 51 years and I considered them both as members of our family. There children were like my children were to me.I missed Paul when he left us all and my husband followed him about two months later. Cathy and I have been always very close and it will be hard for me to go to Ma. this year without her being there. I will go and see the family as usual and will always keep in touch with them. My prayers are with all of you Cathy, Terri and Dan. Cathy will always be with me until I see her again. To the best friend and family I ever had. Claire

Mrs. Sears, as I have always called her, was a beautiful lady inside and out. Always kind and never cross. Her daughter Terri and I have been friends since we were seven. So many wonderful and funny memories. It's hard not to think of Catherine without thinking of Paul, they were truly one. Humor and kindness was the mainstay of the Sears household and I loved being there and sharing those moments with them. The passing of Catherine is a great loss to all that knew her. My sympathies go out to Terri, Cathy, Dan and their children.

I realize that my love for the piano, the music of Rodgers & Hammerstein and Gershwin is the result of sitting beside Catherine on the piano bench listening to her play.I was 6 or 7 years old at the time & I remember it like it was yesterday, asking her to please play just one more song!
Catherine was a true lady. She was a wonderful wife to my brother Paul and a great mother to her children. She was a caring daughter-n-law who was always there for the happy and the sad times. She was more than a sister-n-law, she was my sister and my friend.
I will miss you Catherine! Tell Paul I said "Hi".

We are so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. She was a very caring person. I always remember my sister-in-law,Cathy as being both quiet, talented and very refined. I never heard her raise her voice to anyone.
Both she and my brother saved their money and bought me my first
two wheel bicycle. She also tried to teach me how to play the piano. She made me a dress for my first high school dance. She also had a hand in my meeting my husband and was matron of honor at our wedding.
She took wonderful & loving care of my brother Paul during his long illness.
She finally found happiness once again when she met Emile, who has taken awesome care of her.
We extend our deepest sympathy to my nieces, Cathy and Terri and my nephew, Dan and to their families
and to you, Emile.
Cathy, may you rest in peace. You will be missed..

Cathy was the kindest, sweetest saint of a person I've ever been privileged to have known. Her love and devotion for Paul, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was complete and unconditional. She will be truly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. My deepest sympathies to Cathy, Dan, Terri and the rest of the family.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Cathy. I got to know her at Bethany Assembly of God and always enjoyed her. She always had a smile and kind words. She will be missed.

It's hard to put into words how special & loving my Mother was. She & our Father, Paul, taught us to love deeply, to live life to the fullest, to laugh & enjoy what life offers, to forgive & move on, and to always cherish our family & friends.
I find much comfort in knowing that she is with God now and reuinied with my Father, the love of her life. May they now enjoy eternal love together.
I love you Mom & will miss you!
