In memory of
Carrick High friends
Karyn Hyland
January 3, 2020
My sympathy for the loss of your mom. Kitty was a childhood friend of my dad's in Oakland. She brought my parents together through a Carrick High school football game. They will be married 67 years in April.
I met Kitty a number of times when she came to Pittsburgh to visit. She was always full of fun & laughter. God bless you at this difficult time. Keep the good memories close to your heart.
Here's a photo of Kitty & her Carrick friends.
Sincerely,
Karyn ( Apel ) Hyland

I'll always remember you from our grade school days to double dating with my wife Kareen and I at Carrick High. Our visits
at the Lake. All the fun with an Oakland girl. Sorry I was unable to see you one more
time.

Kitty was a special lady. So classy in her pearls and so fun in the Superman costume at Halloween!
Sending the family love and strength.
