Catherine Dupee Obituary
She was born September 24, 1938, in Sciota, the daughter of Leo and Anna (Corrow) Duprey.
Catherine married James Dupee March 11, 1957. She was a devoted, loving homemaker who would do anything for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Everyone always looked forward to her home-cooked meals. She will be greatly missed by many. She will forever be in our hearts.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Anna (Corrow) Duprey; one sister, Mary Deso; and five brothers, Kenneth, Russell, Marshall, Harold, and Douglas.
Survivors include her husband James of Champlain; seven sons, Edward and wife Judy of Mooers; Walter and wife Lisa of Champlain; Ronald and wife Sharron of Mooers Forks; Donald and wife Doris of Lakeland, FL.; Paul of Champlain; Randy and wife Tracy of Champlain; Brian and wife Sharon of Chazy; two daughters, Roseann LaBombard and husband Ralph of Chazy and Rosemary Forette and husband Kevin of Mooers. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a very special grandson that she considered like her son; Todd Dupee of Beekmantown. She is also survived by four sisters; Florence Hansen of Champlain; Angeline Houle of Rouses Point; Helen Dymowski of Lancaster, California, and Lillian Duprey of Jay.
As per Catherine's request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Coopersville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Heart Association or Fitzpatrick Cancer Center, Plattsburgh. Arrangements are with M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Champlain.

It's been a month since you left us and I miss you more and more everyday. Things are never going to be the same. I am staying with Pepe every night and making sure he will be alright. I am also taking care of the scaling room for you; I know how you didn't like your house having that fish smell to it. I really miss you and everybody elses misses you also,because we couldn't think before all this happen what would the world be like without you and i always wondered that because I know it would be hard,but you imagine what t is going to feel like when she is really gone. Jodie started talking the other day, which was the same date the funeral and she said that you wouldn't care what she wore. And I think you wouldn't care if we wore anything as long as we go to your house. Everybody's saying that I lived at your house instead of my own and I think that is very right, but I would've liked it if I had alot more time.No worries your house is clean and everything is okay,because my mom is a neat freak so your house will not go dirty. We will take care of Pepe and your dog,Honey. And just to let you know none of us are losing weight.

To The family of Mrs. Dupee, Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of you. As I have known most of your families all my life, your mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, friend and neighbor was one of most kind hearted people that I have ever met. God creates certain to hand certain jobs on this earth and for Catherine it was her job to love all and not just one, whether they were of relative in nature or a perfect stranger. News of my sister Catherine's death was a big shock, as I just talked to her a few days before she went to the hospital.
I never dreamed she would leave this earth before me. She was such a great sister. She never said a bad word about anyone.
I know how empty my world will be without her.
It is going to be very hard for all of us who knew her. But life goes on and it will be hard to carry on without her. She was such a loving person.
I shall always remember her kindness.
I sure enjoyed her macaroni soup when I was out there.

You weren’t just a mother, you were my mom. Someone I could talk to night or day. I know you will always be with me. You’re my guardian angel!
