Jack and I have great memories of Cathy and Dennis that go all the way back to Riverview Gardens high school as that is where we all met and became good friends! Cathy was responsible for our first blind date as she arranged for Jack to ask me out and we doubled with her and another friend (Gary Forir) to play miniature golf! And it all progressed from there as Dennis entered our group of friends and we bonded together as couples and then later raised our kids together in St. Louis! Dennis also became my "boss" at Monsanto for several years! We have always loved and treasured your friendship and we know your wonderful children and grand-children will always be with you in the years ahead! Our memories of your family are etched deep in our minds with love forever

Cathy Fitzgerald was someone whose glass was always full. My knowing her, Dennis, Kate and Grayson and her parents as well, through my office was a treat. She was a firecracker, whether at my office or an artist´s reception for one of her friends and even visiting with her briefly after her diagnosis! My condolences to all of the family!

We loved Cathy like a sister and miss her so much! She gave of herself for everyone´s benefit. We traveled together, shared family photos and was always interested and concerned about others over her own challenges! Cathy was one of a kind, like no one else we ever met before! Our visits at her home were always special; even in her suffering she was able to bring joy to those around her. May God embrace you in Heaven, Anna and Ernie Bio

Cathy was a really close friend for several years...she was such a wonderful person and supported me and my family through many good and hard times and I will always appreciate what our friendship meant to me.She was fearless and courageous and unwavering in making the best of what life brought on.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dennis and their wonderful family.You are her continuing legacy of love, hope and optimism in this world.

From Ohio to Florida, thank you for being such a great friend and fellow author with my mom! The wonderful blankets you had made for our kids are still their favorite night time blankets. May you rest in peace.

Cathy was an amazing woman. Her love of family and friends, along with an incredible fighting spirit left me awe. She will be missed.
