Mrs. Muir was born May 20, 1932 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Augustive and Emma Clifford Myers. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by four children: Robert E. and his wife Debbie of Iowa, Louisana, James T. and his wife Song of San Antonio, Texas, William A. and his wife Lucinda and Candace A. Sims and her husband Jesse all of New Florence, RD 1; Also surviving are her grandchildren Jesse J. Sims and wife Brandi, Steven Sims, William, Bonnie, Melinda and J.T. Muir, Latrobe; a great-grandson, Tyler Sims; Also sisters Margaret Cams, Rector, Gloria Gockel, Greensburg, and Judy Henry, Latrobe; brothers Bernie and George, Latrobe and Ralph Muir, Louisana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. on May 5, 2002; an infant daughter and two brothers: Thomas and Gus Myers. Services will be held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of the Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Ligonier, Rev. David A. Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Palmer Cemetery, Fairfield Township.
