Catherine Elizabeth Palardy, 84, passed away on September 29, 2025, in Danbury, CT. Born on April 29, 1941, Cathy was known for her warm spirit and loving nature, especially evident in her passion for gardening, horseback riding, and hosting family gatherings during the holidays.

Cathy spent her career as a dedicated waitress at J.K.'s restaurant in Danbury, where she was beloved by coworkers and customers alike for her kindness and cheerful demeanor. She was a proud alumna of Stamford High School.

A devout member of the First Assembly of God in Brookfield, CT, Cathy's faith played a significant role in her life, guiding her through many of life's challenges and joys.

Cathy is lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Palardy, Jr. (Sherri); daughters, Karen Laskowski (John), Laurie Lyons (Mark), and Barb Hollister (Ron); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, John Howe, and a sister, Mildred Hansen (Tom) of Georgia. Cathy was predeceased by her devoted husband of 64 years, Robert Palardy, Sr.; her parents, George Stewart Howe and Catherine Louise Thompson; her son, William Palardy, Sr.; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Krysta, Melania, and Christopher.

Services for Cathy will be private. There are no calling hours. In keeping with Cathy's love for family and cherished memories, her life will be celebrated in the hearts of those who knew her best.
