Gail Bishop, former Niners golf captain

April 21, 2025

Such spunk, a wickedly sweet sense of humor, always a twinkle in her eye...yet incredibly giving and overflowing grace. I am blessed to have met her through the Niners´ ladies golf group and already feel the gap in my heart. No, Kay, I won´t be saddened and negative, but I will look upward and wink at you. All my love, Gail Bishop.

To Kay´s family She and I were best friends for so many of our young years. Grade school, high school and later during college years and later. We made so many memories over the years and have always cherished the years we had together. I pray for your family and all the memories you have. She will be with the Lord and her husband, Jim. Anne (Emerson) O´Callaghan and Jerry OCallaghan. PEACE

Aunt Kay was so much more than an aunt to me. She was a second home when I was thousands of miles from my own. In her presence, I felt comforted, understood, and deeply cared for. She shared her wisdom with kindness and offered gentle guidance whenever I needed it most. Aunt Kay expressed her love through thoughtful actions and quiet strength. She listened with her whole heart and made everyone around her feel truly seen and cherished.

Her honesty was a gift always direct, always rooted in love. Her life radiated warmth, laughter, and an unwavering loyalty to those she held dear. The impact she had on my life, and on the lives of so many, is lasting and immeasurable. I will carry her love with me, always.

Kay was my beloved bridge teacher. Not only did she get our weekly bridge group started, but she continued working with us on a weekly base for the next two year´s. A wonderful friend and the nicest person to have in one´s life. You will be very missed by us all. Vicki Glockner
