Oh I am heart broken for Des and son! I loved my sweet Des and Ann! They became good friends when they stayed in my place on Hibiscus! Such a loving couple! Love and prayers for Des! I know it´s been a year but I just saw it on legacy!

My heart is breaking. Such a great loss. Ann loved everyone . I was blessed having Ann and Dez as neighbors and it was an honor to also be 1 of her CNAs though AH. Ann was proud of her family and faith. Ann was a prayer warror and she had her list even if your name wasnt on it she was praying for you. Dez she loved you and Steve so much. Dez your love and respect and your committment as a husband, 60 plus years of marriage. I would ask How did you make it all these years,Dez joking around would say its always yes maam and in a serious voice and a voice of love would say everyday she looks like the 19 year old I married.
Dez and Steve my heart goes out to your family. May God give you the peace and strength and the understanding to get though. Ann is with our Lord and Savior.

Des and Ann have been our neighbors for many years, but they have always treated us like family. Their love and kindness had no bounds.

Ann, thank you so much for the years of unconditional friendship and support.

Love,

Ann and I met when we were 12 years of age, entering Jr. High School. She and Des have been lifelong friends of ours. Fortunately, Jim and I have many great memories of happy times together to look back on. We are grateful to know that Ann is no longer suffering in her body but rejoicing with God.

Ann and Des will always be two of my favorites people. Never really spent time with one without the other. I will cherish my memories of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, dinners at the Bergens next door, tennis matches and picking veggies in your garden. Des and Steve, know many prayers are being said for your peace! Love you,
Marianne (Walker) Francone

I know I speak for my entire family by saying we cherish the memory of Ann who - along with her husband Des - was a very close member of our family. Please accept our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Ann shared such wonderful times with my parents and my siblings. She shared quite intimately the joyous occasions of our numerous weddings, and the solemn moments of our father's passing. All this speaks volumes about the deep connection she shared with each and every one of us. Ann's ever peaceful demeanor and warm spirit were a constant and have left an indelible mark on our lives that we will forever treasure, along with the memories we shared with her.

My heart is hurting to know that Ann is no longer with us. I have so many fond memories of her. She was the mother I never had. I loved walking next door to her house and sitting hours with her and Des. Ann I just talked to you a week before you left us. I will cherish that call. You are no longer in pain. We love you and Des so much Forever in my heart Patti and Bret Ficken
