Catherine South Wright, 79, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018, surrounded by her family. Kay was born on October 1, 1938 to the late Catherine and Norman South in Norfolk, VA.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Nick Wright of 60 + years; her children, Nick Wright, Jr., Stephanie and her husband William Kiley, Curtis Wright, Taylor and her husband Todd Lewis, and Hunter Palmer; her grandchildren, Catherine and her husband Alex Floroff, Ashton and his wife Tricia Lewis, Camryn and her husband Michael Questell, Caroline Palmer, Mary Dobbins, Martin Palmer, Jordin and her husband Joey Gresock, and Nicholas Wright; her great grandchildren, Reagan Dobbins, Harley Lewis, Graham Floroff, Finn Lewis, Peyton Floroff and Ashton Gresock.
Kay stayed busy in Virginia Beach and Naples, Florida playing golf, tennis, bridge, and Mahjong. She and Nick enjoyed traveling together as well as hosting dinner parties with her family and friends.
She wants all of her friends and family to know that she loved all of you and she will see you in Heaven.
The family would like to thank Sentara Virginia Beach General and the Sentara Hospice House for all their care and compassion during this time.

Nick,
John and I were so sorry to hear that Kay died. She will be very much missed.
We used to have so many laughs at our get-togethers when you guys came down to Naples.

Sorry for the loss of Kay. She was a wonderful friend for many years who always made everyone feel appreciated. We loved being with her and Nick and will never forget her kindness. God Bless the Wright family.
