Ms. Dyckman was my elementary music teacher in Peekskill (Hillcrest). I remember her teaching us Jim Croce... "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown." I ran into her years later in my college years and told her I was following in her footsteps to become a music teacher. 34 years later, I'm still teaching music, in Peekskill... and Ms. Dyckman was one of my influencers.

Ms. Dyckman was my music teacher at Hillcrest Elementary school and I remember the highlight of my day was going to her class. I will always remember how much she loved John Denver and how she taught us his music, played instruments and sing his songs. She was such an amazing teacher and person. I send my deepest condolences to her family. Thank you Ms. Dyckman for playing a part in my love for music that has truly shaped my life.

I loved Cathy´s sense of humor, and that was what made Cathy Cathy. I loved it when I was at Bayberry Quilter's functions with her in attendance. And she had great patience: just looking at the tiny stitches in her embroidery christening garments. Sending hugs. Sue Cash

Cathy was a special person. My most vivid memory of Cathy is her walking thru our Quilt Show , hour after hour, with her water and first aid wagon. She was just as cheerful at the end if the day as she was at the beginning. A conversation with her always included lots of laughter.

I am sorry for her loss, but she will never be gone. A thought of her will bring a warm feeling for me and many others for the rest of our days. Joan Sullivan
