Cathy Freeman Jolesch

Cathy Freeman Jolesch, of Frisco Texas, born March 1953 in Los Angeles, California died Wednesday, October 9th after a brief illness. Cathy is survived by her husband Elliot Jolesch of 49 years, her high school sweetheart, their two children, Kimberly Har Even (husband Elad) and Michael, grandson William Har Even, sister Diane Parker, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Idele Freeman and very close family friend Velma Teubner. Cathy was an animal lover, always having at least one canine companion. She was also a loving and giving person, having never met a stranger. She pulled people into her loving embrace and fed them good, highly garlicked food. Cathy was generous both in life and death, choosing to donate her body to science in hopes of further research on the diseases that caused her disability for the past 19 years. There will be a celebration of life in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Collin County SPCA or the American Red Cross.
