I found out yesterday that Cathy passed away last week. This is such devastating news. I worked with Cathy at American Cancer Society. She was my new staff buddy and such a ray of sunlight. So talented and giving. My condolence to her family. May her babies grow to know how blessed they were to have such a wonderful mom. May she Rest In Peace!

My heart is heavy as I write this entry. I am a volunteer who worked with Cathy at ACS. From the moment I met her, she was a ray of light and had a smile that lit up the room and brighten up your day. So young, but yet so wise and compassionate. I know she's doing the same up there with the angels. I will always think of her for inspiration whenever my spirit starts to feel down.

Cathy touched my heart! We worked together @ACS and lost contact. Her spirit was incredible after all she went through. I am listening to Usher and writing this. I saw on Facebook just now that she enjoyed his music, I can see why. When ever I listen to it from now on I will think of her as a special person that touched everyone around her. I saw her twins pictures and know that she gave them a piece of her heart! We had a nice friendship. Condolences to Philip and the family! Alan J. Auerbach ( Runner and Cancer Survivor)
