As you can read from all the other guest book entries, Commander Springer was well-loved by all. I always enjoyed seeing him and visiting with him at different get-togethers over the years and enjoyed his upbeat spirit and humor. I will certainly miss seeing him at those times in the future.

Don was a very special friend and I will treasure the moments we shared forever. He was the best neighbor, the most generous man, and bringing him into our card game all those years ago makes me miss him even more. I spoke with him just a few days before he met his Maker and I feel nothing but peace for him. To his family - you get my deepest sympathy. He was one of the greatest men I have 3ever know.
