Loved wife of the Late Cairn McDowall (Gore).Precious and loved Mum of Isobel and Warren Gentle (Ashburton) the late Barry, Brent and Dianne Braithwaite ( Bribie Island, Australia) Niq James (Christchurch) late Matthew Braithwaite (Gore). Loved Gran of Tori and Zeir, Taine, Madison, Francine and Gavin, Yazmin and Kadin, Keegan and Hannah. Loved great-Gran of Bonnie and Kush, Jessie, Fletcher, Zephyr, Harper. Loved great-great-Gran of Avani. Dear friend of Robyn, Gran to Mandy, Ryan, Michelle and Krystal and God Mum of Mere (Gore), special friend to Colleen (Ashburton). Cherished daughter of the late Edith and Percy Botting and loved sister and sister in law of the late Victor and Noelene Botting, Eoin (late) and Joan Botting, Alan (late) and Mavis Botting, Lloyd and Terrill (Late) Braithwaite, Lex (late) and Barbara Waters (Australia). Loved Aunty Cess to all her nieces and nephews. Messages to Cecelia's family, 32a Buffon Street, Waltham, CHCH 8023. A service to celebrate the life of Cecelia will be held at St David's Union Church, Allens Road, Ashburton on Monday, March 13, at 2.00pm. A private cremation will follow. The family ask attendees to please wear joyful colours to celebrate their precious Mum Cecelia.
Death is no endless journey, no going on alone.
Only a pause, a quietness,
a going home.

Many loved memories of Aunty Ces, sending Izzy, Brent and Niq all my love, and deepest deepest sympathies to you all xx, the last of our Botting family is laid to rest with her believed babies her dearest mumma and brothers, May these words comfort you on the loss of Aunty Ces your mum. I will always remember her sweet smile and beautiful nature. May her God keep you in his embrace at this difficult time
