I was very sad to hear of Cec's passing, which I discovered by chance on the internet. He was very kind to me as a teenager in 1979 before I left for New Zealand. June thank you so much for allowing us to stay with you in your lovely home in 1979. I have fond memories of you and your sheepdog Erskin. You have no idea how difficult that time was for me and you and Cec's kindness made a huge impact on me, I can not thank you enough. I also fondly remember the time my husband Gary and I stayed with you in 1989 and Cec allowed us to borrow his car. I have many happy memories of you and Cec. I hope you are ok June and please accept my heartfelt condolences. Take care.Christine xxx (now living in Auckland NZ.

Oh, where have the years gone. My first job was working for Mr Branson at Sullivan, Smith & Bigelow and I loved working for him. I learned so much about law but had to eventually move to Vancouver, giving up my job. He certainly had an interesting career. I believe I met June many years ago, too, but likely too many have gone by to remember. That would have been way back in his early years, about 1965 to 1968. I'm very sorry for your loss.
