My condolences to Cecil's family. I worked with Cecil during his time at National Cash Register and I can truly say that it wasn't only on the playing field that he was a fan favourite but at work as well. Always a pleasure to meet. He could lighten anyone's day with that warm smile and friendly attitude. I will add his picture to the "Remembering Friends" presentation we set up for former National Cash Register employees.

I played hockey with and against Cecil over many decades and my strongest memories are of is his sense off humor and laugh. He was a true friend for more than 40 years and I'm sending my heartfelt sympathy to the entire family.

On behalf of the Beechville Rockets Memorial Society and it members, we would like send our deepest heartfelt condolence to the Jackson Family on the lost of your loved one "Cecil". We were happy to have Cecil as part of our Rocket Family for many years as a coach and then a member of our reunion committee. He was very dedicated and excited when it was mentioned that we were having this reunion August 2016. Cecil made it even when he wasn't feeling well that day. Thank you "Cecil" and may God take good care of you.

Natasha:
I remember when we had Open House at the ANSA Office on Spring Garden Road and your Dad attended. He was so proud of you and your accomplishments and when I toured him around the office I realized it was only your office he was interested in! The expression on his face was worth a thousand words! Keep your faith in God and he will see you thru.

His achievements and yours combined - what a team!

You and the family are in our prayers.

Blessings - Deb and Lou Gannon

To the Jackson Family.
I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend Cecil service as I am out of the Country. Cecil and I grew up together playing in the neighbor and spending a lot of time together. We went on to play much minor league baseball and hockey together. Visiting our home and talking sports with my Father Bob who Cecil had much respect. Cecil started playing little league baseball for a team that my Father coached along with Connie Gordon ,David Downey Joey Martel,, and other from the downtown area. Team was the Kaps sponsored by friend Bod and Hern Kaplan. I could go on and on but will end with a story I think Cecil would like to be told which few if anyone knows. When he and I played Little League together he was always Mickey Mantle and without any though I was Willie Mays. We use to laugh and laugh me being a blond white boy was a black Mays and he the white Mantle. In our eyes as friends we were of the same color. Should be a lesson to this generation. My heart and thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
Respectfully.

My condolences Natasha I have a lot of fond memories of Uncle Cecil, particularly as a teenager and young man. He took me to many of his baseball and hockey games and gave me some of his old jerseys. In a way. I looked at him as a big brother. Unfortunately, I can't make it but he will be in my thoughts and prayers.
