I am so sorry for the family's loss. I will miss seeing him come into Walmart where I work as a cashier....he always told me jokes...even if he wasnt in my line, he would still stop on the way out the door to tell me a joke..he'd have me laughing. He was always buying cookies to give away. The last time he told me a joke, he couldnt remember it all the way through...he said he would be back next time and tell me....I will miss seeing him come into Walmart.

I was so sorry to learn of Cecil passing.He was a loyal customer and friend of all who worked at The Snack Bar in Hickory.

Cecil and I go way back. We were friends, cousins and coworkers for many years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed. I looked forward to his daily joke or tale. He was a really good person and a lifelong friend.

Cecil was a great guy. I worked with him at Shurtape from 1986 until his retirement from same.
He always made me smile and had a wonderful sense of humor. We shared both good and bad times together, but we always ended up smiling or laughing.
My heart goes out to his family. Please know that Cecil was well loved and will be missed.

Ruth and I enjoyed Cecil coming by at times sitting on the porch talking and bringing us sweets. We were sorry to hear of his passing and will miss him.
