My heart is full of sorrow for all of you. I'm so sorry that I couldn't be with you for the funeral. I have so many fond memories of your Mom. Looking forward to seeing you when you are back in Saskatoon. I hope you find comfort in memories of happy times with your Mom.
My sincere condolences, Betty Ann

We offer our deepest sympathy to Cec's family. We are sorry we are unable to be there in person and can only say we are certainly there in spirit.

My aunt Cec was the salt of the earth, a woman of great kindness and generosity. She loved life, she loved nature and carried within her a truly pure spirit. She could get excited about seeing ducks on a pond or a big, beautiful prairie sky; and she loved sunsets. She always had a sparkle in her eye, and a wide smile for everyone she met. She adored walking and spending time with her family. She adored her children and grandchildren. I will miss my dearest Cecile so terribly, but I know she would want us to love life, to celebrate life, to love and care for each other. She would say, "Be strong, take each day as it comes". We can do this. In the words of St. Teresa, "All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of thing will be well"... in time. For Cecile, we must remember that sunset is followed by sunrise, death is followed by life. She will have her Easter. Peace and blessings to all who knew and loved Cecile. She was a truly unique and cherished aunt, mother, woman, friend. We have been truly blessed to have had her in our lives.
