Cecilia Blakey Obituary
She was the wife of the late Edward Blakey.
Born in Tiverton, RI, the daughter of the late James and Cecilia (Dube) Joyce, she lived in Somerset and Fall River for many years.
She had been employed by the Fall River Knitting Mills for many years.
Survivors include 2 sons, Kenneth K. Blakey, Sr. and his wife Cheryl and James E. Blakey, all of Fall River; 5 grandchildren, Kenneth, Kevin, Heather, Jason and Stephanie Blakey; 2 brothers, Edmond Joyce of Tiverton and James Joyce of Washingtonville, New York; a sister, Margaret Rego Boudreau of Fall River and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Rose Gagnon.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church, So. Main St. at 9:00.
Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Large parking area and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
