Katie O'Kelley Obituary
She had a special love for horses and enjoyed competitive riding. She was a graduate of Indiana University Southeast School of Business. Katie was the former owner of The Wireless Connection and never met a stranger. Katie was born on March 1, 1975 in Asheville, NC, to Gary R. O'Kelley and the late Patricia G. (Jones) O'Kelley. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Kathlyn O'Kelley.
Along with her father, she is survived by her "bonus mom," Brenda O'Kelley; son, Cade Odell O'Kelley-Ruckman; brother, Sean Patrick O'Kelley (Tanya); grandmother, Loraine Jones; nieces, Haley O'Kelley and Bethany Martinez; and great-niece, Bella Moore.
Her Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN. Her funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
