I always loved Cecilia from the first time I met her at her home when Lorrie and I were in our young 20's. She was lively and witty and fun and full of lots of very profound advise. Through the years whenever I visited Lorrie we would always make a point to spend time with her parents and it was nice to see that Cecilia always remained so very young at heart! I know she was a very beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and greatly admired by everyone who knew her for her strength and loving ways. I am so glad I got to spend so much time with her and Harvey at Lorrie and Kurt's wedding in Austria last year. I especially treasure those memories. She will be truly missed and will remain in my heart forever. Much love to all her family, Susan

I have very fond memories of Cecilia and remember when she and Harvey married. (I was a child). They always seemed to be smiling at each other. Harvey was my mom (Aunt Gladys') favorite nephew. I recall being invited to their house and meeting Cecilia's parents Henrequita and Arturo--who I thought were elegant.
Harvey and Cecilia came to my house in Manhattan to celebrate my mom's 93rd birthday.
Cecilia was a lovely person. She will be missed

The Pratts and Friedmans were more than just neighbors. We all grew up together almost as one family. We vacationed together, went to church together, went to school together and hung out on our patio most nights. I had the privilege to see Cecilia in action!! She was exceptional at everything she did. Mastering sewing, English, Driving, cooking, entertaining, and loving her family with all her heart. Rest in Peace Cecilia, you are now reunited with so many of your old neighbors and family. I carry those precious memories in my heart. Until we meet again.

I met Lorrie as a freshman in high school and her mom always made me feel welcome in their home. I remember Lorrie often standing on a chair while her mother, an accomplished seamstress, fitted her with beautifully made clothes. I wanted one of Mrs. Friedman's skirts! One year in high school I needed a costume for a class play and Mrs. Friedman kindly made mine when she made Lorrie's. I had the pleasure of attending Lorrie and Kurt's fairytale Austrian wedding where I was privileged to spend time with Lorrie's mom and dad. I am so happy for my friend, a devoted and loving daughter, that she enjoyed so many quality years with her beloved mom. May you rest in peace, Mrs. Friedman. With love, Patrice Saunders

Mrs. Friedman was a gracious, thoughtful lady, who was interested in life, and in others. It was my good fortune to have met her at Lorrie's wedding. My prayers and thoughts are with the whole family, who is strong and close. In sympathy, Kendra Kline Heck
