Celestine and I grew up together in Gladewater. She was one grade ahead of me and I remember her fondly. Her sister, Mary Francis married my uncle and our families became forever linked I send sincere condolences and pray that God's Peace consoles the family during this difficult time.

Mrs. Celestine Green was a grandparent to everyone that entered her home. The first time I met her she had this great big smile on her face, it was the fourth of July and the house was full of family. She made me feel so welcome and so loved and she has continued to do so over the years. I will forever hear her voice saying ''Hey Baby" & "I love you all" her beauty shined from the inside out and she was absolutely PERFECT. Maw Maw was loved and her memory will forever live on through all of us. Rest in Heaven you're truly celebrated here on earth.

On April 29th I lost the best woman to walk this earth. There's no denying she was anointed, a beautiful woman with a heart of gold. Anyone that was blessed to be in her presence immediately wanted to be apart of her life, grandma to me but Friend, Mother, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and most importantly a Child of God, you knew she was a blessing she would pray for you and stay reading her bible. Grandma you will truly be missed until we meet again I LOVE YOU!!

Nana,
Thank you for being a constant light in everyones life including mine. Thank you for being the backbone of the family. I pray the family still gets together every holiday. I know thats what you would have wanted. Thank you for reminding me to always keep God first. Im truly convinced your prayers for your children and grandchildren will still live on in their favors. Though this is hard to understand, I find peace with the thought that you are surrounded by nothing but complete love right now.
To the Green family,
Please know that The Lord is close to the broken-hearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed. Also, know that the power of the Mother/Grandmother prayer lives on.
