I knew Cesar when I was a Resident at the University of Rochester (New York) and he was a fellow Resident (1975-1978). Very smart, very funny and a very interesting human being. I am sorry to learn of his death.

Dr. Benarroche was one of those rare people who truly gave of himself to help others. He always took that extra little time to truly find out about my life, and believed in me when I didn't want to believe in myself. I can't imagine how many people's lives he's touched over the years. He will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Benarroches passing. Out of all the professionals in the medical field I have met over the years, Dr. Benarroche always gave the most upfront, no-nonsense advice and treatment, and his remarkable memory and quietly intense way of engaging with patients left me with a great respect for both his humanity and his professionalism. I wish him peaceful rest and the lasting legacy he deserves.

I was a patient of Dr. Cesar Benarroche since 1991 when I first moved to Florida. I am saddened to hear of his passing and would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. I am forever grateful for this doctor. I have had some very rough patches in my life and without his help I would not be in the place I am today, and it is a good place. I'm sure he's helped countless others. We need more people in this world like Dr. B. I'll always remember you and always be appreciative of you, sir. Rest in peace.

I had the privilege to work with Dr. B. He was an excellent diagnostician. He always challenged us, the clinicians to think out of the box. Will always remember him.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news that Dr. Benarroche had passed. Dr. Benarroche saved my husband's life, more than once. He was a wonderful diagnostician and a fine man. He will be missed. (My husband, Barry Gordon passed away approximately (3) weeks before of congestive heart failure).

We were so saddened to hear of Dr Benarroche's untimely death. He was a brilliant psychiatrist and truly cared for his patients. My daughter has been under his care for fifteen years. He supported us through some very desperate times, for which I will be forever grateful. It is hard to think that he will no longer be a part of our lives. We will miss him and keep his wise counsel in our memory. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. We have lost a great and compassionate man.

I have been fortunate to have worked with top doctors as a resident of Washington DC where I consulted with Psychiatrists from the National Institutes for Mental Health. When I came to Florida I was concerned about finding a doctor who could measure up to those practitioners. DrBennaroche not only measured up he surpassed most of them. He was the warmest and most caring doctor I have worked with and his clinical knowledge was unsurpassed. As I used to tell him he made me feel safe. He was incredibly generous with his time and he kindly gave out his cellphone number. I am heartbroken at his passing and not sure how I will ever replace him.

Dr. Benarroche was an amazing man, a brillant doctor. He was tough, but compassionate & loving. My family has known Dr. B for ten years. I made a phone call as a broken, desperate mother in need of help for my daughter. This man saved my daughter's life over and over. If I needed to speak to him he was just a phone call away. If only we could have saved him . Deepest sympathy to his family and staff. This isn't good bye, it's until we meet again. WE LOVE YOU...The Caruso Family Joe, Lewanna, Nicole Tipton

Dr, Benarroche, who we lovingly referred to as "Dr. B" at the Lynn University counseling center, was an integral part of our team for 10 years. He was a brilliant psychiatrist that taught all of those in his presence the complexities of the human brain. He was well respected in the mental health community and touched the lives of so many both professionally and personally. I am honored to have had the pleasure to work with him. He was witty and quirky with a story to share, a new application he downloaded for his phone, and/or interesting art work he collected. He lovingly spoke about his family and shared stories from his vacations and his life. He lived his life to the fullest, and will be missed greatly.

It is with the greatest sadness that we have learned of the passing of Dr. Benarroche. He has forever changed the lives of our family, as we are sure that he has helped so many suffering with mental illness.
We are so glad that when we last saw him in the office, we let him know how grateful we all were.
We want his family to know what a G-d send he was from the day we first met him. We express our deepest sorrow to his family and his colleagues, as he will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace, Dr. B

Although I have only known and worked with Dr. Benarroche at the Lynn University Counseling Center for a few years it was truly a pleasure as his passion for his work with students was quite apparent.
