Chad Jonathon Peterson

SALEM - Chad Jonathon Peterson, beloved son, brother, and friend, died Saturday, December 1, 2007.Chad was born in Salem and spent ten years growing up in Williston, North Dakota, before returning to Keizer. Chad graduated McNary High School in 1993, and went on to become a successful contractor.An avid outdoorsman, Chad's passions in life included fishing, hunting, and camping. He will be missed by all that knew him, including his Labrador Retrievers, Charlie and Cassia. He is survived by his mother and her companion, Bev Vizina and Tim Reidy; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Laurel Peterson; father, Charles Peterson; grandfather, Willard Buchholz; step-father and wife, Charlie and Kim Vizina; step-sister and husband, Jennifer and Keith Biesma; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous close friends.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crisis Chaplaincy Services or the Humane Society.A chapel service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7 at Virgil T.
