While this is long after the fact of Chads death, I have just come across his obituary. I knew him when he worked at Elmhurst College....a long, long time ago. I really enjoyed his company. I was pleased to read of all of his goodwill activities. It was a pleasure to know him.

I consider myself fortunate to have known Chads. He was my neighbor at El Dorado and I came to appreciate his wit, intelligence and love of life. His volunteer work with the Desert Pride Center was especially admirable.

He will be missed

My partner, Gary, and I will miss our neighbor very much. He was a good friend to us and to the many people he helped here at Eldorado and in Palm Springs. The tragic loss of his presence will be deeply felt in our community.

This
was a shock to read in today’s Desert Sun on Chads!
Condolences to partner
and family members.
I 1st met Chads working on the webpage for PS Caballeros,
our joke was people asking for Chads or Chas everybody was confused, ha ha.

He was such a great guy, great energy to be around, very positive person!
Like allot of people we fall in out of contact with each other, I had not
seen him in quite awhile but every time I heard his name or we communicated
via work exchange it brought back a great memory!
He will be missed.

Dear Deb, although miles separated you both, you were a very devoted sister. Your friends are thinking about you and your family during this very difficult time. Love, Marie
