Chaim BORENSTEIN Obituary
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, May 12, 2017. Beloved husband of Nathaly Vermette. Loving father and father- in-law of Richard and Avery, Lorna and David, Marianne and Marko, Marc and Jessica. Loving Zaidie of Benjamin, Danielle and Erica; Chloe, Justin, Olivia; LuLu, Noah, Juliette; Jack and Leo. Dear brother and brother-in- law of Ruth, Stefan, Rafael and Nachama. Son-in-law of Ann and Jacques Vermette; and brother-in-law of Mark and Marie-Claude, Richard and Amanda. Chaim will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, many dear friends, and all of those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish Eldercare, Hope and Kastner Pavilions, for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to all his personal caregivers for their loving care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. At the family's request, shiva will be held in the strictest of privacy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chaim's memory may be made to the Jewish Hospital of Hope Eldercare Foundation, (514) 738-4500 ext.: 2124.

So very sorry to hear, and especially to hear so late, of the passing of a dear friend of many years. His life was lightened by Nathaly, as our lives were lightened by his.

So very sad and shocked to learn of the passing of Chaim. I had come to know him in the mid 2000's and he was an absolutely wonderful person. I'm glad I knew him.
I will miss him greatly.
