Dr. Chaman Kashkari lived a life of love, music, compassion and charity. We knew him for some 40 years and he was the person everyone in the community could count on for any kind of help.
He was an evolved soul. Learned but humble. He will live forever in our hearts.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Kashkari while I was a student at The University of Akron and then to help him with his Global Energy Society for a while. His heart, compassion and dedication for helping his fellow mankind will be sincerely missed. This world was better for him having been a part of it.

Sad to hear about Chamanji's demise. Heartfelt condolences to Sheelaji and the rest of the family.
It was out great fortune to have known him so closely and shared some memorable evenings with him. His passion for his academic pursuits and his love for Saigal songs was unmatchable.
He could spend hours reciting Saigal songs and entertain all of us with his melodious voice.
To me, he was an elder brother and a friend in one.
During our early days of settlement in USA, it was people like him who provided the guidance and inspiration to succeed in our new home.
He was gentle, he was accomplished and he was a loving human being.
We will miss him a lot and cherish the fond memories he left for of us.
Rest in peace dear Chamanji.

A luminous human being now becomes immortal. A man who kept his nobility and did his duty to humanity. How many, many lives did he touch? I well remember my last conversation with him on the phone. How does one project warmth unless it comes from the very soul? With love and wishing courage to the Kashkari clan at the loss of a loved one.

We called Chaman Kashkari, my mother's brother "Tata". I have fond memories of our growing up years in Kashmir. He was kind, affectionate and loving " mamma"( uncle ).
He was a big part of Vijay and my life in Canada and USA.
He was dear Uncle Chaman to my children and Chaman Dada to my grand children. We will miss him.
I spent last week few days ( March 14-19 ) at his bed side. Though he was too weak to speak, he did smile when I told him something dear to both of us. I will always remember him with that smile on his face and will cherish the memory!!
