With heavy hearts, we remember Chance Williams, 62, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2025, in Georgia, surrounded by his loving Wife, son, daughter, and brother Scott (Sandor) Wise.
Born in Syracuse, New York, Chance built a life filled with love and friendship in Georgia. His warmth, wisdom, and laughter touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Chance found joy in fishing, playing spades, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Branch; father, Donald Williams; maternal grandmother, Donna Eure; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Williams; and brothers Alvin Branch, David Branch, Gary Branch, and Stanton Jones.
Chance leaves behind cherished memories and a celebration of his life through his loving wife, Shelly Williams; son, Chance Williams II; daughter, Tiffany Mastin (Jamie); and grandchildren Kyrasha Givens, Ja'mier, Jalen, and Jasiah Mastin. He is also survived by his siblings: Clifford Branch (Belvia), Greg Jones, Lynice Love, Scott (Sandor) Wise, and Trey Williams; as well as special family members, including his uncle Andre Branch, niece Sonya Branch, cousin Tonya Branch, and his cherished in-laws Derrick Williams (Leann), Tracy Williams, and Vickie Jenkins (Delbert). His wide circle of family and friends will also carry his memory in their hearts.
No services will be held. The family deeply appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and the treasured memories you share during this challenging time. Your support means the world to us.

Chance worked in Syracuse serving people in great need, some near the lowest point in their lives. He did so with excellence and compassion. I will remember him for that and his friendship.
