The world lost a wonderful soul with the passing of Chandler. His beautiful obituary highlights what an exceptional person he was. We were awestruck by the depth of his talent. The world lost a truly gifted artist. From his contributions to the world of art, to his care and tending of his home, to his love of dachshunds, it was evident that he was a very loving and tender soul. To honor his memory, we have made a donation to The Midwest Dachshund Rescue.

“We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.”
-Immanuel Kant

May the Lord Jesus embrace him in our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom.

With our sincerest condolences,
Shannon and David Najem

I first met Chandler his freshman year at Roncalli. He was in my guitar class. I talked him into other classes- exploratory instrument class, music theory and AP music theory. Chandler was an outstanding student. He loved to learn. And we discovered that we shared a love of a wide variety of music. He gave me a CD of the band Fleet Foxes because I had mentioned how good they were. I still listen to that CD and I will continue to remember Chandler every time I listen to it. He was thoughtful, kind, smart and gifted. I loved Chandler. I am so sorry for this loss.

Chandler was my first love at 14 yrs old, and therefore a friend of 13 years now, and I am heartbroken to find he is no longer with us. Chandler was a gentleman, an amazing musician, appreciator of all forms of art and higher thought, he was brilliant. He was silly, funny, and a wonderful friend. I will miss him deeply and my deepest condolences to his family by whom he was highly loved.
