Chandra Glass Thompson, age 54 years, passed away on April 27, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was born on August 23, 1966, in Houston, Texas to loving parents Willie Glass and Hazel Baines Glass. Chandra received her education in the North Forest Independent School of Houston, Texas. She was a graduate of Forest Brook High School. She furthered her education at Houston Community College where she received her degree in computer science.
She accepted Christ as her savior and was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, in the Settegast Community, where she sang in the choir. She was employed with North Forest High School for many years before falling ill. She enjoyed fishing and cooking.
Chandra met Milton E. Thompson Sr., and they united in holy matrimony on December 31, 1989. To this union they were blessed with 2 boys.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Hazel Baines Glass.
Chandra leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband Milton E. Thompson, Sr.; 2 sons, Willie Thompson and Milton Thompson, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Admiral and Dustin; goddaughter, Iyanna; 2 brothers, Willie Glass Sr. and Don Glass; 1 sister Evelyn Glass; a host of nephews, nieces, and other close relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life in remembrance of Chandra will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Viewing will start at 10 am followed by funeral service at 11 am. Service will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Rev. Paul Veazie, Officiating.
Interment - Private.
