I had the privilege of working for Charlie both in Corrections and at the CJPA.
He was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was a calm and thoughtful man who brought the principals of humane treatment to Alaska's criminal justice system.
I was also pleased that he was able to preside at my youngest daughters wedding.
Charlie has given a lot to this world and will be missed!

Mrs. Adams and family, I worked with Charlie at Criminal Justice Planning for a brief time and cannot say that I have ever met a more generous, kind, and gentle man. Even years after my employment, he would always greet me with warmth. He will definitely be missed by many. So sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry for your loss. Charlie was so many things to our family: friend, priest, mentor. We loved him dearly, as we do you, Janet. Thank you for sharing him so freely with so many of us who claimed his time. Our hearts are with you.
