Charles Anthony Roell Obituary
Charles was a born salesman, which helped him with his prosperous business career, most recently with Associated Packaging. He had a wealth of knowledge on a myriad of topics. Charles and his wife, Lynn, had just finished remodeling their first home when it suffered six feet of flooding during the Great Flood of 1979. Undeterred, he then purchased acreage in Madison, MS and built their forever home. He was dedicated to caring for his home, family, and dogs. Additionally, Charles had a deep passion for golf, and attending the Masters Tournament was one of the highlights of his life.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Lynn Roell; his daughter, Ashley (with her husband, Dustin); his son, Charles Roel Jr.; his grandson, Elijah; and his two sisters, two brothers, and their families.
To understand Charles's perspective on life and death, the family invites you to listen to "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum. They hope it brings you a smile, just as a conversation with Charles would. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
