I regret never having had the opportunity to meet Teddy's family or see Teddy again since I left the states 50 years ago. Teddy was my favorite cousin. 8 years ahead of me, he used to plop me down in the rumble seat of his Ford Model A and take me with him to the beer joints and honkytonks of Cuyahoga Falls where he taught me the fine art of table shuffleboard. If Teddy was my favorite cousin, then his mother, Hortense, was my favorite aunt. On all the trips we took together here in Europe she kept me up to date about Teddy. I'm sorry attempts over the past few years to find Teddy with the help of the Internet failed. It took a sad obituary to find him. He was the best older cousin a boy could have had. I loved him.

Thoughts and prayers to the Arther family during this difficult time. I had the pleasure to care for Mr. Arther. May he rest in peace.

Mrs. Arther and family:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Ted was one of my favorite clients - kind, happy and full of good cheer. I will miss him dearly.

It was with deep sadness that we heard of Ted's passing. Floyd is so grateful that you called him and we will both keep you and your family in our prayers. Ted is definitely in a better place, probably fishing at his favorite fishing hole, watching over all of you. May God bring all of you peace in your hearts. He was a wonderful man, Floyd's best friend. I am proud to have had the good fortune to know him.
