Staci and Jay, Amber and Mike, I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been hard for me to come up with the right words to express my sadness though I've thought about it every day. Golf buddies have a special kind of friendship and I'm so fortunate to have golfed with and gotten to know your Dad over the years. He always had the same passion for golf that I have. Charlie not only made me a better golfer, he also made me a better person. I'll miss the long rides to new golf courses. My son even told me those trips just won't be the same without Charlie because he made them fun. I will always have a special place in my heart for your Dad. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to give me a call. Charlie, keep hitting them straight down the middle! You'll be with me every time I play.

I miss you every second of every day Dad. It hurts so much to not be able to call you and not be able to come see you and not be able to hug you. I pray everyday that you are at peace and I am confident that I will see you again one day Dad - I will always hold on to this. Until then I will always remember you and you will always be a part of my heart and my life. ~ I Love You, Have Sweet Dreams, See you In 2 Seconds ~

Charlie was my bus driver at Erskine from the Fall of 1998 to June of 2002. I am greatful that I had him to get me to and from school safely every day and that he was such a wonderful and friendly person. One year for Christmas I made him an ornament and any time he would see me he always told me that was one ornament he made sure he put on his tree. I will truly miss seeing Charlie. My thoughts go out his family and friends.

Charlie was a great friend. I finally convinced him to get his bus drivers license when he retired from the State, but he said he could never deal with that many "kids"., and look what he accomplished. We served in the Army National Guard together in Bangor for 6 years and our paths always seemed to bring us back together. He'll be in my memories forever.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Boopy...
AKA Charles...he was always Boopy to me..
I not sure how he spelled his name. I think thats how he spelled it in the Quill when we graduated in 1965.
My earliest memories of him and his family are when they lived in the apartments next to T.W Dick on Highland Avenue.
We started scool together at Pray Street School with Mrs Holt and we were together all the way until we graduated. We used to watch cartoons on his T.V.
We didn't have one so I spent a lot of time at his house watching T.V.
As we got older we got into cars and seemed to always be working on the old cars we had.
He was a sterling individual and I'm sure he will be missed by his family and all that knew him..

My thoughts and prayers go out to his famly at this time of sorrow.

I am truely sorry for your loss.
