The Rao family conveys our heartfelt condolences to Pat, Clay, Allison, and the entire family. I wish I could have come to the funeral service but my schedhule would not permit.

Chuck Bibbee was a gem of a man, whose smile, laugh, and big heart inspired me from a young age and as a junior tennis player. He saw my brother and I grow up from young boys on a tennis court, to teenagers, and young men.

I remember some of my favorite memories would be driving back from a tournament with him, sometime at night, stopping off at a truck stop for food, and most importantly hearing his stories and getting advice and learning about the game of life from such a great man.

I will never forget his smile, and love of people. He loved all of us and the community, and I can honestly say, I am so grateful I got to know such a great man during my early years.

We pray for the family, and he adored all of you so much. I can even remember his smile now when he would see Clay hit that forehand and I cannot even imagine how much he smiled when he visited one of Clay's clubs, or spent time with his grandchildren.

May he now rest in peace and his legacy live by demonstrating the type of pure kindness, love, and authenticity he displayed every day with all of us.

Steve S. Rao, Charleston native.

Chuck is the last relative on my Dad´s side. Somehow that seems like a deeper grief. He was a delightful man, fun, happy, generous, friendly, eager to be a friend.
I miss him now, and always will.

I am heart broken to hear about the loss of such an amazing man. I had the honor of being a caregiver to Chuck and I still and will always cherish the days we spent together. I learned a love of tennis and golf of which I didn´t care for either prior to many Saturdays of watching with him and hearing him say... sure you could play!!!
It also gave me a short opportunity to meet a family that made me feel loved!
I will forever hold a part of him in my heart.

Such a wonderful man. I enjoyed playing many doubles matches with Chuck when I was a coach at the University of Charleston. He was also very supportive of our program. Many prayers to his family
