Charlie was my nephew, he will forever be in our hearts. My family and I are so grateful for the outpour of wishes and kindness everyone has shown us during this horrible horrible crisis. He was a great guy always had an impish grin on his face and the memories we have will help us during these dark hours. I cant wrap my head around it that he is gone and why this happened and what lesson we are to learn from this. I love you Charlie and god how we miss you. And Laura when u read this know that I love you and I am here for you, but you know that

As one of Charlie's teachers at Harwich High School I had the honor of getting to know him quite well. His quick wit, enormous intelligence, humility and compassion for others was a daily part of our lives.
I became accustomed to having Charlie there. He brightened our day, helped us when we were down, inspired us with his creativity, ideas and thoughts, and amused us with his humor. Mostly though he set an example of someone who wanted to achieve.
He tried harder in many ways than most people. He kept at it and perservered - forcing himself well beyond his comfort zone - be it in math class or some other venue. He pushed himself and was so proud of the support and love he received from his family. He could not have made as much progress without all your efforts.
The world will be a darker place with his loss, but it is up to us to take the light that Charlie represented and rekindle it in our love for each other.
Support others, help when you can, don't judge, be kind and sensitive, and above all try hard - that is what I remember about Charlie and that is what I hope we all take from him into our lives. Let that be his legacy.
May God Bless Charlie and comfort all of you - and may we all be reunited one day in His kingdom.
Peace.

Charlie could always put a smile on my face when he showed up at camp. He was always the first to the kick ball field and to the pool.
He was one of my favorite campers and I will always have a special place in my hear and mind for him and Joey. My condolences go out to you and he will be in our prayers forever.
I am very sorry to hear of his passing and he will be missed dearly.

I would like to express my most deepest condolences in your tremenous loss of your son. I know hard difficult it is to lose your children as I lost two boys at birth and haven't really gotten over that even now. I had met Charlie several years ago when we worked together and several of your family members and just hope that he is in a better place now. May Good Bless you and yours. Please don't hesitate to call me anytime.

I was stunned to hear the tragic news about Charlie. There are no words to adequately express my sympathy for the devastation you must be feeling.
Over the years I have often thought with great affection and pleasure of the years Charlie and Joey spent at The Family School. Remembering Charlie's smile, hugs and the twinkle in his eye always brighten my day. He was special and I will always cherish my time with him.
Please know that I am thinking of you.

I will always remember Charlie's devilish little smile, and his sweet, sweet face. I was his teacher at The Family School and assistant director of Brewster Day Camp when Charlie and Joey where toddlers through school age. There are a few that capture your heart and Chalie was one of the special ones. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
