Mrs Blackman and family; Many of us who had worked with and for Charlie were not aware of his passing in time to be there for his services so I would like to extend my condolences on your loss. He was an inspiration for many and left many happy memories.

Linda, Lena, and the entire Blackman Family. My prayers and the prayers of Mothers Of Grace Ministries are with you all. I have had the joy of knowing this family from an elementary school girl at Moses Mc Kissack in West Nashville where I came to know Pastor Linda. I meet Lena and Charles at North High School, and later lived in the same apartment building with Marlow. I have only fond memories of each of them. Pastor Charles' funeral was a true homegoing celebration. All of us should strive to have the testimony that Pastor Arthur said about Pastor Charles, “That man really loved God.” I know that each of you do as well, and rest assured that He will see you through. Keep your focus on Him and help the grandchildren to find comfort in the sweet memories of their grandfather.

Sister Blackman, I just heard about Pastor Charles being called Home. My prayers go out to you and your family. He was a great Christian man and minister of the Gospel. He had a wonderful sense of humor. May happy memories bring you all a measure of comfort and peace. He will always live in that special place in your heart. I'm praying for Charlie's family. I worked with him for years and he always greeted you with a smile. If you were having a bad day and you met with him your spirits were truly lifted . He was one of our Holy Fathers gifts.
