Charles Steven Andrew Blankenship

Charles Steven Andrew Blankenship, seven week old infant son of Charles Andrew and Aleisha Osborne Blankenship of Richlands, Va., went to be with the Lord Mon., May 4, 2009 in a Richlands, Va., hospital. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are: two brothers: Shawn Ethan Royal of Richlands, Va., Charles Izak Blankenship of Raven, Va.; maternal grandparents: Brian and Wilma Dye of Richlands, Va.; paternal grandmother: Geraldine Lane Blankenship of Richlands, Va.; maternal great grandparents: Chap and Rinda Osborne of Raven, Va. and Susie Dye of Richlands, Va.; several special aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Charles Steven Andrew Blankenship were conducted Thurs., May 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cornerstone Tabernacle in Cedar Bluff, Va., with the Rev. Rick Whitt and Rev. Shane Breeding officiating. Interment followed at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Va. Pallbearers were: Brian Jared Dye, Timothy Roger Justice, Fred Blankenship and Travis Tatum. Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. Dowell Mullins, Dr. Bonita Patel, Dr. Edson Knapp, Dr. Renda Knapp, Richlands Fire and Rescue, and Mr. and Mrs. Jeter. Friends called at the Cornerstone Tabernacle after 6:00 p.m. Wed. evening.
