Grandpa I wonder if you truly knew how much you were loved I miss you so much and my heart is breaking, even though I knew you was ready, I just wasn't ready to let you go. Sitting by your bedside Praying to the Lord to heal your broken body and bring you back to us, I guess I was excepting One Of God's Miracle. It really hit me when we were listening to Pandora and TAKE ME TO THE KING CAME ON AND YOU KEPT RISING YOUR HANDS AT THAT TIME I KNEW I WASN'T GOING TO GET MY MIRACLE, YOU WAS READY TO RECEIVE YOUR WELL SO DESERVED CROWN. I just want to Thank you for always loving me and remembering who I was even in Your last days, that meant so much to me you was always ready to take that Selfie with me. I remember you looking into the phone saying oh that's me and I said yeah that you papa and your FAVORITE GRANDDAUGHTER. YOU ARE MY HERO UNTIL I SEE YOU AGAIN I WILL CHERISH THE BLESS 54 YEARS THE LORD ALOUD YOU TO BE IN MY LIFE. P.S. I will not let my grandchildren for get you. Now you can REST IN PEACE

Grandpa, thank you for making ALL of your grandchildren fill special in your own loving way. We will miss your sweet way of recognizing your many grandaughters entering a room by saying... "Hey Momma" or " that's my daughter from Texas child right there", as only you can .
You deserve this hour of rest.
Until that great day,
"Your oldest daughter from Texas child right there".

The way I remember Granddad was he was man of few words, he sat back a he observed everything and everybody. He enjoyed coming to Houston spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved his family. I have many memorable moments of granddad. One in particular was for my 50th party I asked grand dad was he enjoying himself he laughed and asked was I enjoying myself I then laughed and said yes he said well that's all that matters so I then asked did he want to say anything he asked me did I want to say anything I told him yes I would like to say something he said what. I put the mic up to my mouth and said hello everybody this is my granddad. He then said I want to say something I said oh ok here is the mic he got it and said in a BIG deep voice "I'm ready to go home" and we all laughed. And that's the way I remember my grandfather a man of few words but when he did speak everybody listened. I'll forever miss you pawpaw but no more pain, sickness, or sadness. I could only imagine him crying out to the Lord "I'm ready to come home" . Rest well until we meet again. I love you..every time I saw him he always knew who I was. Love last a life time.
