Melissa. I just heard about Chuck. (Dianne Montgomery texted me yesterday to let me know) I am so sorry about his passing. My prayers are with you and the family.

My 21-year-old daughter sought to find her first car and after much research, she found "the one". It was located at Wilmington Auto Wholesale. She nervously called the dealership to see if it was still there, to her surprise and relief it was. The friendly salesman went on to answer all her questions about the car and invited her to come take a look at it. We arrived at the car lot very excited and went in to speak with the salesman. Mr. Boyette was very pleasant and patient with us during the whole process. We are so sad to hear of his passing, but we will never forget how kind he treated us. You have our deepest condolences.

I have always looked up to him growing up visiting Cherryl and then working for him at Hard Bodies . Always a great guy.
I’m in South Carolina now still coaching and teaching, wish I could have gone to visitation.
But wanted to say sorry and if something I can do let me know. Being from a small town all of you were important in my life.

Chuck was an amazing Uncle. Whenever he was around, it was always a good time. I am so glad that I got to go enjoy a summer trip with him last summer, and sad that I won't be able to do it again! Rest in peace!

Chuck you are going to be missed I remember when I first met you at Dr. Boyette office where my mother Roberta Arthur (deceased) was working for your dad and I used to go there to help my mother and you use to say hello Jackie to me . I always thought your heart was as Gold as your mother and you didn’t see ANY COLOR and that’s what caught my eyes because of that . I pray for the family and I pray that God will strengthen and comfort them the days to come . You may be gone but you will never be FORGOTTEN!!!! RIP ON CHUCK ♥

So grateful to all of you for allowing me to share in Chuck's life. I met Chuck many years ago at UNC-CH in the early 80's and we've been friends since then. I met him through a mutual friend, Sonya Jones, also of Belhaven. We shared quite a few " Chuck Boyette" stories. We considered him "our brother from another Mother."

He was jovial, kind and loving. Best friend anyone could ever ask for. I will miss stopping at the car lot to see him on my trips to MBSC and Wilmington. No matter how often I stopped, we were glad to see each other. Down through the years, I stopped in with family and friends and he never met a stranger. They, too, were fond of Chuck and often asked about him. They were shocked and share your loss, as well.

I will never forget his generosity, nor will I forget the times I had surgery in Wilmington and Missy and the Boyette family had flowers in my room before I arrived there. He was a true friend and I'll cherish every memory we made together.

My heart aches with the family, but be comforted in knowing that your loved one, my friend is resting in the arms of God.

Melissa, you and the kids have so many wonderful memories of Chuck. I pray they are a comfort to you all. He lived his obituary. Praying for a permeating peace for your sweet family that only God can provide.

Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Chuck for a long time, the time I did know him I enjoyed the lunches we had and watching some high school football games together. Chuck will be missed. Prayers for the family.

Haven't known Chuck but a few years but it didn't take long to learn to appreciate him and his good character, always the same. What can I say about a Great brother in Law.A true family man. He was always fun to be around. Loved his Laugh. A man that would go out of his way to help others. I would always think of Chuck when somebody would mention Carolina Blue! I never met anyone that loved the ocean more than Chuck and I know he spent as much time allowed to be out there.
