Charles William Bronson (Chuck), 61, passed away the morning of April 3, 2022, in Sunnyvale, TX. Charles was born on August 13, 1960 in Dallas, TX to William (Bill) and Margaret (Peggy) Bronson.
He is survived by his wife Carol Bronson; sons, Christopher Bronson, Scott Bronson and wife Katie Lynch-Bronson; sisters, Mary Anne Martin, Barbara Graves and husband, David, Beth Bronson; brother, Bobby Bronson. Charles is preceded in death by his father and mother Bill and Peggy Bronson.
Chuck grew up in Pleasant Grove and spent the bulk of his career as a heavy equipment mechanic. He married Carol October 3, 1987 in Dallas. Chuck loved his family dearly and worked tirelessly ensuring his family was provided for. He was a visionary, loved working with his hands, fishing, and visiting with friends, family, and neighbors, lending anyone a hand when they needed it. He also loved having a garden growing his own fresh fruit and vegetables and had a soft spot for animals.
Chuck’s Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 8, at 2:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale. Family and friends are also welcome at the visitation on Thursday, April 7, from 6-8 pm also at New Hope Funeral Home.

My condolences to Carol and the boys as well as all the family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Chuck the last few years as a neighbor. He and I spent quite a bit of time together working on various projects especially during 2020 Covid. Chuck was always more than willing to lend a hand to all of his neighbors in any way he could. But he helped me more than anyone else. Whether just loaning me a tool or actually driving his tractor over to mow around my pond or grade my road. He had immense knowledge of all things mechanical and there weren't many things he couldn't analyze and eventually figure out how to fix. He was a jack of all trades and taught me a lot with all the experience he had. I will miss our conversations about work, politics and our families. Chuck Bronson was a good man. I will miss my friend.
